Your shipping costs are determined based on your specific location to provide the most accurate and fair pricing. To view the shipping charges, simply proceed to checkout and enter your suburb. Our system will calculate and display the shipping cost for your order.

Once your shipping details are provided, we will offer an estimated delivery time. This estimate helps you plan for the arrival of your new purchase, allowing you to make necessary arrangements for receiving your item.

Large Furniture Items

Our Standard Delivery Service for Online Orders

  • Flat rate $90 (exc. GST)
  • Includes up to three items. Any additional items will incur a fee of $15 each.
  • Delivered to the room of choice
  • Rubbish removal and assembly are not included.
  • Must be present at the time of delivery.
  • Must have clear access.

GD Home coordinates a standard delivery service throughout the greater metropolitan Sydney area. We have designed this delivery service to offer our customers an affordable option. We are able to provide this service at an affordable cost by having our customers agree to be flexible in receiving their delivery.

Our logistics team will contact you when your items are ready for dispatch. We are unable to take requests for specific days or times. The receiver will need to be available for a pre-arranged time slot on their allocated delivery day. Our delivery team will also call 30 minutes prior to arrival.

The definition of standard delivery service is an attempt to facilitate the delivery of a product into a designated space with a reasonable amount of ease and within a 30-minute time frame from arrival. Please choose and measure carefully as we do not refund for change of mind or in circumstances in which you have ordered or measured incorrectly. Delivery fees are to be paid at the time of purchase for in-store orders. The delivery fee for online orders is charged at the time of checkout on our website. You will receive a delivery quote to your area upon ordering, which will be displayed on your sales order.

  • Unpacking: We carefully unbox your items with the utmost care, ensuring their pristine condition.
  • Installation & Assembly: Leave the heavy lifting to us. Our skilled team will professionally install and assemble your furniture in your desired location.
  • Rubbish Removal: After setup, we'll take care of the cleanup by removing all packaging materials and rubbish, leaving your space neat and tidy.

With our White Glove Delivery Service, you can enjoy your new furniture immediately, without the hassle of unpacking, assembling, or dealing with the packaging. It's the perfect solution for a seamless and effortless home furnishing experience.

It is your responsibility to ensure prior to the time of delivery that your products will easily access your space. This includes ensuring all internal and external courses such as elevators, stairwells, hallways, and any other obstacles can be easily negotiated by our two-man delivery team.

GD Home and our appointed delivery contractors reserve the right to refuse to carry out a delivery in circumstances where the product is deemed unable to access the site due to size restrictions, possible damage to the product or surrounding property, or instances considered dangerous. A futile delivery attempt fee will be charged if we are unable to conclude safe delivery of your product. A futile delivery fee will be equal to the original delivery quote. Refunds will not be made for cases in which inadequate measuring of access and space has been made by you; we may, at our discretion, offer a store credit.

It is your duty prior to accepting our standard delivery service to advise us if you require a specialized delivery that is more complex than what our standard delivery service offers. We are able to guide you in finding an outsourced delivery company that will be able to assist you in a specialist delivery service for your needs. Specialist deliveries will require you to organize the service and pay for the service yourself.

All products are required to be unwrapped and assembled at the time of delivery. It is your responsibility to carefully inspect your products for damage or faults at this time; a signature and date from you or your authorized receiver will be required to acknowledge that your products.
